Dear AS²A Families,
Happy New Year! Classrooms are alive with talk of new beginnings and resolutions. Let’s all promise to welcome this new year with a happy spirit and encourage each other to share kind messages with our classmates, read more often, listen well to our teachers, and see the good in others!
Our next big event at AS²A is Catholic Schools Week, January 28 - February 3, which provides us with an opportunity to celebrate our amazing community. This exciting week includes the much-anticipated History Night at the Museum on Thursday, February 1st from 6:00-7:30 pm. On this night, the halls of AS²A turn into a museum celebrating this year’s National History theme, Turning Points in History.
History Night at the Museum consists of 2 parts….
If your child is in Grades 4-8 and would like to participate in the activity, sign the permission and return by Friday, January 12th.
Cold and flu season is in full swing. Please monitor your child for symptoms and consider keeping your student home when they show signs of cold or flu - let’s keep AS²A healthy!
*Special Note* We have an opening for an Extended Day assistant for both mornings (7:30am - 8:30am) and afternoons (3:00pm - 5:30pm). If you or someone you know is interested in earning some extra spending money, please contact Anne Klegraefe in the office at 848-4300 or send an email to [email protected] Please spread the word about this job opportunity!
We are in that time of year when weather can affect the school calendar. If for any reason, classes will not be held due to inclement weather such as snow, OR we are already in school and need to close early, the School Messenger program will notify parents via email, text message, and phone voice message. An announcement will also be made on area television and radio stations.
For weather-related closings and delays, All Saints Academy follows the Middletown Public School directive - please listen to the radio or TV announcements for the Middletown school closing decisions.
If you have not opted in to receive text messages now is the time to do so. We use texting for important announcements, such as snow delays or closings, that need to come to your attention immediately. See the attached flyer with instructions to add yourself to the text list. School Messenger Text Flyer.pdf
Dates to Remember:

This weekend, the Church celebrates The Feast of the Epiphany. After being made known to the shepherds, the Savior is revealed to the Magi who come from the far East. As we embark on a new year, let’s share Jesus with the world by spreading the good news of kindness and love for others.
