Dear AS²A Families,
Well, March surely came in like a lion! We thank Miss Richardson’s First Grade class for securing the snow day by participating in the New England traditions of wearing their pjs inside-out and placing a spoon under their pillows. For some of our families, the snow day was a first. We heard many students say things like, “I haven’t seen snow in so long!” Children shared stories of snowman building and sledding!
The Lenten season began on Ash Wednesday, February 22. In classrooms, children are learning to follow the footsteps of Jesus to get closer to God. Students are focusing on prayer, fasting, and giving to others.
Have you completed your re-enrollment form for the 2023-2024 school year? We receive applications from new families every day. Save your spot! Re-enrollment forms are due March 15 - don’t miss this important date! If you have any questions about financial aid, please do not hesitate to reach out to Kathie Bartlett or Anne Klegraefe.
Our PTO board has planned a schoolwide PTO meeting for Wednesday, March 15, 6:00pm -7:00pm. All parents and guardians are invited to join us in the multipurpose room to plan upcoming fun events for our students.
You are also invited to join us on Friday, March 24, 9am to 12pm for what we call a Fast Forward Open House. All parents and guardians are welcome to take a peek into your child’s classroom for next year. Be a “fly on the wall” to see what the year ahead has in store for your student
Dates to Remember:
Did you know?
ASA is one of the few diocesan schools to have a consecrated chapel in the school building. Students spend quiet time in the chapel praying for friends and family.
