Dear AS²A Families,
This week we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week! The faculty at AS²A is the best around. Please take a few minutes to help us celebrate our teachers by flooding their inboxes with messages of appreciation. A quick thank you means a lot!
Middle School students were busy painting windows at Staples in celebration of the Ocean Race event taking place May 11-18 in Newport. Students painted the windows to help spread the message of ocean sustainability and to reinforce our responsibility to care for our oceans. Drive by Staples to see the amazing talent displayed on the side windows.
We are 10 days away from the Walk-a-Thon, our biggest fundraiser of the school year. Fill up those pledge sheets and get ready to walk on Friday, May 19th. Watch your email for information about online donations which will be available on our website in the days to come!
Mark your calendars for another special evening at AS²A. Thursday, May 25th from 6:00-7:30 pm we will host a “STEAM Night” and invite families to experience STEAM integration in action!

Our trip for grades K-8 to Fort Adams and the Ocean Race Live Park is scheduled for Wednesday, May 17. Permission slips and waivers for the field trip went home on Thursday or Friday this week. Students in grades 3-8 will participate in the Try Sailing station. Check backpacks and submit forms to make sure that your child is set to participate in this fun trip!
The Middletown Police Department has begun a community policing initiative and we are pleased to have them join us on the All Saints Academy campus. You may see an officer here from time to time during morning drop-off. Join us in thanking the officers for helping us at All Saints!
Safety Reminder- The play yard area opens at 8:30 when teachers are outside to supervise. Please do not allow children to exit your car until you see a teacher is there to supervise. The safety of our students is of the utmost importance to us!

Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.
