Dear AS²A Families,
Each day, I make a point of visiting the classrooms and saying good morning to the students and teachers. I am already so impressed with the work the students are doing, the kindness they are showing to their classmates, and the way they have adapted to the routines and expectations set by the teachers. I always say AS²A has the BEST students, teachers and staff and I am reminded of that each and every day. Way to go, Eagles!
Next Wednesday, September 25th at 9am, we will celebrate our first school Mass of the year at St. Lucy’s Church. Students arrive at school as usual and walk to Mass with their class. Please join us at St. Lucy’s if you are available!
This weekend you will receive an email about a Cross Country Club being offered here by Coach Em Devaud (Mom of Hutcheon and Gable). Practices will be held Mondays, 3:15-4:30, starting September 30th. Runners will have a chance to participate in a virtual 5K in October. Look for more information through School Messenger!
This week you received an email about Schoolspeak, the online grading system. Please make sure you log in and create an account so you can view your student’s grades, progress reports, and report cards.
If you would like to volunteer in the school in any way (PTO events, classroom parties, field trips, etc.), you must complete a background check and Safe Environment training. Please email Ms. Delia at [email protected] to add your name to the Volunteer list. Ms. Delia will reach out to schedule an appointment to complete the necessary forms. It can take 2-3 weeks to receive your clearance, so please plan ahead.
LABEL, LABEL, LABEL! We already have quite a collection of stray uniform items. Please label your student’s clothing as everyone’s sweater looks exactly the same!
Looking ahead, All Saints Academy will once again be the host location for a free FLU vaccine Clinic sponsored by the RI Department of Health. The clinic is scheduled for Tuesday, October 15th from 3:00-5:00 pm. Please look for more information about registration in the coming weeks.
