Dear AS²A Families,
On Wednesday we celebrated our feast day, All Saints Day. We enjoyed a lovely mass with Father Codega and the parishioners of St. Lucy’s Church. Classes celebrated with activities and learning focused on the saints, those holy people we try to emulate every day. Each day we pray to find inspiration in not just our official saints, but also those who strive to live saintly lives. Thank you to those who joined us to celebrate Mass.
Is your student registered for the READ-A-THON? The READ-A-THON, a fun way to get our students excited about reading while earning prizes and helping their school, starts this Monday, November 6th! Thank you in advance for supporting AS²A with reading!
Have you ordered your AS²A spirit wear? Order by November 17th so you, too, can sport your AS²A pride before Christmas! ASA Sportswear Sale 2023.pdf
Reminder: Cold Weather - dress in a coat! We have recess every day and the weather is turning toward cooler temperatures. Please send your student dressed for outdoor play each day.
This Friday, November 10th we will remember and celebrate our veterans with a student prayer service. Our prayers will honor and recognize all of America’s veterans – their patriotism, their love of country, and their willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.
In honor of Veterans Day please help us celebrate our veterans. Look for a handout in your student’s backpacks on Monday to honor all of those who have dedicated service to our country. We will proudly display your returned responses in our hallway during the month of November.
School Picture Re-Take day is this Friday, November 10th. If your child was absent for school pictures or needs a re-take, please be in full uniform on this day. Kindergarten and Pre-K PE classes will take place on Wednesday this week, so gym attire is not necessary for Friday, November 10th. Go to https://calendly.com/ jennifercarterphotography/asa- school-pictures-retakes-2023- 24 to register.

Lord God, Almighty Father, creator of mankind and author of peace, as we are ever mindful of the cost paid for the liberty we possess, we ask you to bless the members of our armed forces. Give them courage, hope and strength. May they ever experience your firm support, gentle love and compassionate healing. Be their power and protector, leading them from darkness to light. To you be all glory, honor and praise, now and forever. Amen.
