WE DID IT!  Our Walk-A-Thon was successfully completed Thursday morning- thanks goes to Mr. McDonald for confirming the weather was a go to walk the 3k for Pre-School through Grade 3, and 5k for Grades 4-8. Along the way, classes stopped for daffodil photos, and to visit the outdoor Stations of the Cross by the Rectory. The Kindergarten class even had a generous parishioner serenade them with “Immaculate Mary”! Each student received an AS²A cup, thanks to mom Mary Hanos of Pippa, grade 4, and a dress-out coupon to use on the day of their choice. If students choose a gym day please make sure they wear their sneakers for PE.

Now comes the sponsor donation collections to determine first, second and third place winners and the class winning the pizza party! Each sponsor form has been signed by the class teacher confirming your student completed their walk!

A help for the daily what’s for dinner question comes on May 11 we will have a Family Take Out Night at Chipotle! Flyers will be sent to you this coming week.

We are in the process of creating the cereal box domino set up to be videoed for all to see- Thank You for the generous donations of 302 boxes of cereal to help our food-insecure folks. The students have earned a dress-out day this coming Wednesday, May 5.

Each school day in May, our school community will recite a decade of the Rosary to Mary in their Religion classes. We honor the Mother of Jesus with this special prayer, and we remember all mothers with our prayer intentions.

This coming week is National Teacher Appreciation Week. More than ever in these pandemic times, our teachers have doubled their efforts to provide quality education to each student, both in person and those who are in our hybrid program. It is your opportunity to communicate your appreciation. We have shared with you a suggestion list of ways to send a message of thanks! Or you can create your own thank you!

Let us end by saying a prayer for our All Saints STEAM Academy Faculty- talented, gifted, dedicated creative, and inspiring – we are blessed!
