Parent Update
January 14, 2022
Dear Parents,
In this month of peace, we continue to direct our prayers and efforts to thinking of others before our own needs, and each day bringing joy through our words and actions. This week has been challenging in the number of our school community who are out due to either quarantine as a close contact, or who are experiencing symptoms themselves. At these challenging times, we are reminded how blessed our school community really is!
Our teachers and aides are consummate professionals who have delivered in providing instruction to both in-person and online students. We applaud their courage and determination in continuing to create a stimulating learning environment inclusive of all students.
Our substitute teachers are generous and flexible in presenting the lesson materials to our students. They follow the teacher's directions closely and confer with them throughout the instruction. We are blessed with dedicated All Saints substitutes who support our mission!
Our students are understanding and attentive in working with their teachers, both in-person and online. They know what is expected of them and they step up to their responsibilities as learners.
Our parents, YOU, for continuing to be socially responsible in closely monitoring your student’s health and choosing with an abundance of caution to keep your students home if a symptom is present. On behalf of our school community, we thank you for your diligence.
We want to thank those kind folks who have offered their thanks and encouragement to our teachers and staff during these times. We work very hard to instruct our students in a safe environment, and to do so difficult decisions may have to be made. We all grow in positivity, and when you share it with us, it makes our day. THANK YOU!
We are hopeful that upon returning on Tuesday, January 18, we will have a full school of students returning, and at the same time, we are realistic in working with the levels of illness in our population. Today, all students will be taking home their materials should this not be the case, and if for some reason we have to transition to distance learning. We appreciate your continued flexibility and collaboration in these times.
God bless each of you and your wonderful families in our new year together.
