Dear Parents,
As we end the first week of June together, although our thoughts are drawn to the year ending and summer beginning, we need to stay focused on the present reality. Each morning the students and teachers center their efforts to the work of the day, praying for guidance to act justly with compassion for all. In our eight school days remaining, we will continue to follow our safety protocols with mask wearing indoors and outside, as well as social distancing and handwashing. Compassion and concern for all includes being safe around and among our school members. We appreciate your continued support of our efforts to end this year safely for all.
Your class teacher will update you with end of the year plans during the school day. As a Diocesan school, we do not participate in outside of school events. All plans apart from school are to be conducted by the individual families and are not communicated within school. We thank you for this support.
In reviewing the year with your student, be sure to highlight their academic and personal achievements. This was a significant year of childhood for them, in that all students were able to learn together in the classroom. Thank you for the combined efforts of the students, parents, and the teachers. With the hope that safety measures will continue to increase, the next school year may be more back to the norm we remember. But there are some plans we will not change, as they were better than before! One will be dismissal! We generally clear the parking lot in less than 20 minutes, thanks to our walkie-talkie dismissal calls, and the energies of Ms. Dawn and Mrs. Villareal! They are truly our Saints Traffic Angels!
To our families moving on next year, please contact Mrs. Klegraefe in the Office to receive the school records release form for students in grades Kindergarten to 8 who will be attending another school next year.
THANK YOU to all who have responded promptly with their completed financial forms submitted. If you missed the June 1 due date, please do so now to secure your student’s place in their grade. The first tuition payment for the coming year will be by July 1.
Eight school days can seem too short for some, and too long for others. But each day we are together healthy and happy with is a gift from God.
God bless you,
Mrs. Brouse
