This Sunday marks Palm Sunday, the time when Jesus was welcomed into the city in honor. In our Catholic faith, our old palms are exchanged for fresh ones to be kept in our homes for the whole year until next Lent. As we begin next week’s holy time of the Easter Triduum, the period of three days that begins with Holy Thursday leading up to Easter Sunday, we reflect on the days of Lent and how we have sacrificed. The school will be closed on Good Friday to mark the death of Jesus. The Pre-Kindergarten will be filming on Tuesday their annual Passion Play, led by Ms. Dawn. Classes have reflected at the outdoor Stations of the Cross. We are continuing our cereal collection for those suffering from food insecurity, today we have 102 boxes- only 198 to go! Please be generous, thank you!
Great AS²A News-
Students have received the WALK-A-THON fundraiser sheets yesterday. In this pandemic year, we have not been able to gather safely for our traditional fundraisers which supplement our school budget. This includes our Raffle Calendar, Annual Fund, Breakfasts with Santa and Bunny, Book Fairs, and School Fair. The April 29 walk will welcome generous sponsors to support each student in their academic experience at All Saints while completing a healthy activity during PE class! It is a win all around. We are fortunate to educate our students in person all year- ten weeks to go until graduation! There are top prizes for the highest sellers and class. Go Eagles!
In line with the wonderful education your students receive, Señor Vidotto is generously offering his time to coach the elementary grades 3-5 in cross country in April. Thank you Señor!
In this pandemic time, when college students are struggling to stay in person and complete their degrees, it takes the generosity of others to help them along. Thank you, Ms. Viveiros and Ms. Brantingham, for mentoring Ms. Lauren Noble-grade 5, and Ms. Kaitlin Dean, grade 2, to complete their student teaching this spring at AS²A! Our students are excited to work with both of their teachers!
Our 2021-2022 enrollment is going strong- presently there are a few openings in our Pre- Kindergarten and grades one, four, and five. Spread our good news and get a family to enroll and you will receive $500 off your tuition! Due to our increasing enrollment, a Fourth-grade teacher will be hired for next year!
A gentle reminder- school begins at 8:40, all arriving after except for bus riders will be marked tardy. Have your student on time to start their learning day together!
Many thanks!
