Dear Parents,
This update comes to you earlier this week, as I will be in North Carolina for the remainder of this week with my Army daughter over Memorial Day weekend. Rest assured, the coming events are in superior hands, starting with Mrs. Villareal hosting the Band Concert today at 1 pm for band parents and band siblings only. Señor Vidotto will coordinate the Thursday Walk-A-Thon with lower grades PE teacher, Mr. G. We appreciate the sponsor efforts to secure donations for our school! The students are excited to earn the winning awards! Friday’s 9 am whole school Mass at St. Lucy’s is in honor of Memorial Day, and our Military families are our guests. Mrs. Green will serve as the point person for this event. Please let your teacher know if you will be attending and if you want your child to sit with you during the Mass. We thank you for your service and sacrifice!
When we return on Tuesday, our May and June birthdays will enjoy an ice cream treat! We hope to see you all on June 1 from 1:30-2:30 pm to visit your student’s class. Because we plan to see so many of you at this event, we will not be meeting on June 6 for the 8:30 am coffee meeting.
As more school events are underway with the end of school and the nice weather, RIDOH has alerted us that there is also an increase in the number of Covid cases, many directly sourced to gatherings. We will ensure that our ventilation flow and cleaning practices are safely maintained throughout these remaining school days. We know you will continue to ensure your safe choices as well.
Please send in ALL Walk-A-Thon monies no later June 3. THANK YOU!
We Remember
We remember the brave men and women
who have given their lives
through the history of our country
to protect us from danger and harm.

in mind and or body in the course of their service.
We salute all those who served in the military.
