We have completed our first five decade recitation of the Rosary today. Each morning the school prays a decade of the Rosary while thinking of their loved ones, their friends and teachers, and special intentions. Mary, the Mother of Jesus, is our example of compassion and love. We pray for all of our mothers this Mother’s Day, and for all those who show compassion and love in this world.
Thank you, Families, for making our teachers feel so appreciated this week! As you can see on our posts, there were many different ways the message of thanks was shown- flowers, pizza, candy, gift cards, prayers, and honks! Today, teachers will be treated to a delicious Pickles Deli lunch- with a pear to say they are the Pear-fect teacher- get it?!
After the wonderful STEAM Night, we can all attest to the terrific efforts our teachers share with your students!
As we move forward in this month of May, there have been days with temperatures in the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s. We have not yet hit a 70 degree day, I know, because I am the recess duty teacher every day this year. Students are to wear their sweater vest or long sleeve sweater as part of their uniform. They may only wear the AS²A hoodie over the vest or sweater- no other jacket or hoodie while in school. School shoes and correct sock colors are part of the uniform as well. Please review page 10 of the handbook with your student to ensure they are responsibly dressed. Thank you.
Please remember-
All final walk a thon monies are due this MONDAY! Many thanks!
We appreciate your completing your financial responsibility paperwork in a timely manner!
Take a break from cooking and plan to order Chipotle’s for dinner this Tuesday, May 11th!
God bless our mothers this Sunday and every day.
