Dear All Saints STEAM Academy Community,
Week Seven was a quick yet eventful week with many new developments to share with you. Our Paul Effman Concert Band Music Lessons are going well, the Student Council has begun convening and planning a Fall Festival to take place on October 27 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm for which we will need several PTO Parent Volunteers. Please email [email protected] if you would like to volunteer for this highly anticipated Student Council Sponsored Student Social in order for this event to be possible. The Fall Festival will include arts and crafts, healthy snacks, refreshments, fun with friends, and age-appropriate Halloween-themed movies.
We are blessed and thankful for our collaboration with Father Codega of St. Lucy’s Church for coordinating our parking lot and crosswalk to be painted and re-striped on Tuesday, October 18th after student arrival at approximately 9:00 am. Please do your best to get your student to school by 8:40 AM. Only the main driveway may be used this day for parent drop-off as St. Lucy’s Church lot is being re-striped at approximately 7:30 AM that morning. If you arrive during striping, you may park along the driveway or in the side parking spots along the driveway. We will place safety cones with tape at the school sign stopping while the paint is drying. Although pavement paint may feel dry in 30 minutes or less, it will be at least an hour before the paint will be cured sufficiently to allow vehicles onto the pavement. If this changes, we will let you know immediately.
The parking lot paint will be dry by the time you drive onto the parking lot at dismissal time. Please note the new Handicapped Spaces for our visitors and a new crosswalk for the health and safety of our school community members.
