Hello AS²A Parents,

Thank you for navigating our traffic pattern through the drive this week, and a big Thank You to Senor Vidotto for his generosity in overseeing the flow. He reports that you have been patient and considerate with each other, wonderful!

Fr. Codega is working with structural engineers to plan to repair the other side of the drive. Located underneath there is a pipe flow construction for the island water and designs have to be made to securely build up the area around it. Thank you for your continued attention to safe driving!

As today would be our in person Parent Meeting, I am updating you on school news from what would be our general meeting before you go into your student's classrooms. 

• Your teachers will invite you to zoom from 6:3-6:50 this evening, at which time they will share their class news. As this is a general parent meeting, please contact your teacher at another time if you have a specific concern for your child. I have informed the students that this is your parent meeting and not a time for their presence.
• Thank you for adhering to our office directives. Today you will receive your SchoolSpeak online contact through which you can view your student's work as it is graded and posted.
• There are some uniforms in the closet for those waiting for Donnelly's orders or in need of parts of the uniform. As this is our first PE day, there were some students needing a shirt or shorts. Please call the Office to schedule a stop after school hours at 3:30pm to look through the closet. Please remember that the mask is to be a solid color. . 
• Thank you to all who sent in the necessary information to begin the year. For those who have not done so yet- emergency contact, health concerns, and media release forms all must be in no later than tomorrow. 
• In following RODOH directives for this year-

Daily symptom check- As you are daily monitoring the Covid 19 symptoms in your children according to our School safety Plan, - if there is one - 1- symptom that suddenly presents in your child, you are to keep them home. To return to school they must have a written doctor's note of school return approval or a negative PCR result. These will be kept in the student's health files and must be presented to return to school.

Traveling- Those unvaccinated students who are traveling leaving Rhode Island and staying within the United States, must quarantine at home seven days after return, and get a PCR test on day 5. Students may return on day 8 if they have a negative PCR test result. Those choosing not to test must quarantine for ten days and may return to school on day 11. 

Hybrid- Only students who are quarantining from a close contact exposure will be eligible for hybrid learning. Students who are ill, or who are traveling, will not be in the hybrid learning classes. 

With our continued community support and encouragement, we will achieve another year of happy childhood learning for our students.
