All Saints STEAM Academy

All Saints STEAM Academy challenged each student and grade with a school-wide STEAM Challenge. While many STEAM projects are completed in classrooms throughout the year, this challenge not only required students to work within class teams but also as a school body to brainstorm and coordinate the construction of a "perfect city" that included vital aspects such as health, safety, equality amongst residents and environmental sustainability. Each grade chose a different focus of our ASA Lego City to brainstorm, plan, design, and construct in teams and later be combined to create our ASA Lego City, STEAMOPOLIS!

This year's 2022 National History Day theme is "Debate & Diplomacy in History". As part of the Lego City STEAM Challenge, students were encouraged to brainstorm and research aspects of the city that would offer residents the ability to debate and diplomatically handle issues in their community to ensure all residents are provided the same opportunities.
