The Scoop is back! For those of you joining the All Saints STEAM Academy school community, The Scoop is our way of sharing weekly news and updates with our families. It includes community and classroom updates, news about upcoming events, and important dates to remember.
We hope this Summer Scoop finds you in good health and basking in the fun and relaxation of a beautiful summer! All Saints has been abuzz with activity throughout the summer break as we gear up for the new academic year filled with boundless possibilities.
Throughout the summer our dedicated staff and volunteers have worked to improve both the interior and exterior of our school. Inside the classrooms, teachers diligently decorated and reorganized to enrich our curriculum and create spaces that inspire curiosity, teamwork, and inventive thinking while ensuring every student feels welcomed, valued and empowered to excel. A special thank you goes out to graduates Colin Camara and Jace Harris and rising 8th graders Precia McCabe and Ava Wiggins who performed countless service hours power washing the lunch tables and chairs and making our classroom spaces sparkle!
Please put your hands together and join us in welcoming our new staff members to the All Saints community:
Ms. Tyra Kutsaftis joins AS²A to lead our littlest learners in the Preschool. Ms. Kutsaftis' passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love of learning is evident in her creative and engaging teaching style. She is eager to create a warm and welcoming environment for our preschoolers. (special note: Tyra is also an AS²A alum!)
Ms. Lisa Dunbar brings a vibrant energy to our Kindergarten program. With a strong background in early childhood and a commitment to individualized instruction, Ms. Dunbar is dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential and is excited to collaborate with families to support our students’ growth.
The Elementary team welcomes Ms. Brianna Krue as the new 4th Grade teacher. Ms. Krue is an energetic educator with a passion for making learning meaningful and fun. Ms. Krue looks forward to integrating technology and hands-on activities into the curriculum as a means of inspiring our 4th graders to explore and excel in their studies.
