Dear AS²A Families,

For our students, the season of Lent is not only a time to practice giving up something, but also a time to give to others.  We see evidence of giving every day. Students give friendly smiles to each other in the hallways and high fives to each other during recess games. Students give encouragement to each other during group and project work in the classroom. Students give their friendship to each other in Book Buddy groups and efforts and talents to Choir and Band. 

THANK YOU to all our families who submitted their re-enrollment forms and registration for next year (due today)! Acceptance letters to new applicants will be sent out on Monday for classes where space is available. If you know a family interested in joining ASA, please encourage them to apply soon!

We love hearing the joy in the students’ voices as they announce, “I have diapers!” and then proudly add their bundle to the stack of donations in the lobby.  Thank you for helping us help others. We will collect diapers, diaper wipes, and crib sheets through Tuesday, March 25.  

Breakfast with the Bunny is quickly approaching.  It promises to be a fun morning that starts with a delicious IHOP breakfast and culminates with a lively Easter Egg hunt.  Sign ups for breakfast will be coming soon.  In the meantime, our PTO has created Sign-up Genius links for those able to support the event with the donation of time or plastic eggs for the hunt. Report Cards for Grades K through 8 will be posted on SchoolSpeak next Tuesday, March 18th.  Please ensure you know your login information to view the reports.  Feel free to contact Miss Delia in the office for support. 

Check your email for the 3rd round of Subway Order forms for April, May, and June.  Order forms and payment are due March 26th.   

Reminder: There is no school on Friday, March 21 - Professional Day for Teachers 

Look for the information soon! Plans are underway for a fun and creative summer camp.  The camp will open July 7th and run through August 1st.  Rising Pre-K through rising 4th graders are invited to join the excitement!  Registration information coming next week!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Help Needed! - Do you love to organize?  Our Used Uniform Closet needs you!  If you have time to straighten and organize the closet and then a few minutes each week to fold/hang up loose items, we would love your help.  The job could be tackled during school or after school hours. Please contact the office if you have availability.  Thank you!

Did you know? 

Our chorus has a new name!

The singers voted to be called the AS²A  Eaglets! The name is a nod to our school's eagle mascot - - with the added significance of what eaglets, eagle babies, do. They chirp for their parents! Like eaglets, our chorus singers are singing to their parents...and also to God, our Father, and Mother Mary! They can't wait to CHIRP for you next on STEAM Night (May 1st)!
