Dear AS²A Families,
We look forward to our creative Trick or Treaters and Trunk decorators making this Saturday, October 19th, a Spooktacular Success! There is still room for your trunk if you are feeling creative and would like to join the fun…the more trunks, the better!
Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Friday, October 25th. Sign up information has been emailed to families through School Messenger. Please sign up for a 15 minute conference slot. Friday work for students will be assigned by teachers and due on Monday.
Reminder: Don’t forget Cross Country this Monday! We were rained out this past week, but be ready to sprint this Monday. Bring your running shoes and running clothes!
School Picture Day is Tuesday, October 29th. Please send your child to school dressed in full uniform and a sunny SMILE!
Students are invited to add orange, black, and/or purple to their uniform on Halloween, October 31st (it’s a PE uniform day for K-8).
November 1st is All Saints Day, our school feast day and a Holy Day of Obligation. We will celebrate Mass with St. Lucy’s at 9am. We would love for you to join us!
Also, we will kick off our Thanksgiving Food Drive on All Saints Day. Bring in a canned good and let’s help the needy of our community!
The READ-A-THON is coming soon! One of only two major fundraisers here at AS²A, it is a rewarding and fun way to get our students excited about reading while also earning prizes and helping their school. The Read-a-thon runs November 4th - November 29th. Look for more information to come this week and thank you in advance for supporting AS²A with reading!

Did you know?
The 3rd panel in The Collage of Saints, created by Miss Dawn, features the medieval saints. You may recognize many of the saints in this panel as martyrdom was prevalent at this time and many of the martyrs were canonized.
