BOO!
Happy Hallowed Eve, Parents! We hope your celebration at October’s end is fun for the family! Please remember to stay safe as you and your costumed ones enjoy this time together! When we return on Monday, we will move through the day with special prayers from the Breviary. We will also be sharing the Saints names from the front lobby display to see the class with the most identifications! Ice cream treat coming up!
By now you have been able to review with your students their progress reports in learning. The weeks ahead to the end of the first trimester will be time for our students to focus on their academic goals. Organization, having a growth mindset, and study skills are life strategies best learned early for future success. With your collaboration, your students can achieve their dreams!
November 8-14 is Discover Catholic Schools promotion. Please share our good news on social media and in conversation with your community. The strongest influence carries with your testimonial, we appreciate your sharing our Good News!
Throughout November our Student Council will be leading our Thanks For Giving food drive for St. Joseph’s pantry in Newport. If you can, please give generously! If you can pray, that is much appreciated as well.
Our next school day off will be November 11, Veteran’s Day. We WILL be in session on Election day, November 3.
Our Chipotle Family Take Out Night was a success, and we will be planning another take out night soon! Our ASA clothing fundraiser will be coming just in time for the holidays- be on the lookout!
Our November value is Gratitude. The students pray daily for the many blessings they have received in their lives, and we pray for those who are in need. An attitude of gratitude in our lives creates the positivity and resilience that will help our students become strong leaders and achievers. We can move forward when we believe we can!
I have to go- the Middle school team is sharing their microbit cereal box monsters with the Elementary team! The Kindergarteners are watching their slime drip off their desks! The Pre students are excitedly playing at their party! And the First and Second graders are enjoying party treats with their rooms lit up in orange and purple!
