Today is Friday of the Fifth Week of Lent. Our students have enjoyed an exciting Spirit Week directed by the Student Council. In this value month of Compassion, our student Chaplains, Katie and Quebel, give their time to lead the school in daily prayer and reflection. Our Student Council representatives show good examples to their classmates and acknowledge their service to others with Respect Cards. Our Feinstein Kindness Tree in the lobby is filled with flowers from each class that have compassionate messages like peace, joy, love, listening, and friendship. As we enter Holy Week after this coming Palm Sunday, let us try extra hard to make these last days before Easter the time to show compassion for our families and our communities!
Blessings before eating is said by our students in all grades. Our students are directed to focus on their blessing of food and to pray for those who suffer food insecurity. Thank you for continuing to ensure that your students have healthy and nutritious snacks and lunches. The elementary students enjoy their lunch in the multipurpose room, and I am heartened to see the balance of protein, fruits, vegetables, and carbohydrates in their lunch bags. Healthy life choices start in childhood, so encourage your students to share their choice options in eating deliciously and nutritiously!
Next week, the Pre Team will be involved in their pres Easter activities, including their Passion Plan, their gg hunt, their Resurrection Egg Story, and class Easter activities. What fun!! All the classes will be marking this faith-filled time with special events!
This is the last call for yearbooks! If you would like to receive a yearbook, please complete the online information!
