Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
What a wonderful month to celebrate!
Actions speak louder than words. Bravo to you for finding ways to show your love and support for your families! Take the time to read with your children; take a walk with them on these winter days; and show your children that you have concern for others by doing a kind deed. Your actions speak louder than words- Walk your Talk!
RIDOH UPDATE- The latest update with our school safety plan will occur on March 4, when masks will become optional. We will remain in masks on the week we return from break- February 28 through March 4. As this date is the end of the return week after winter break, it is hoped that we do not experience a surge of illness rates as we did after the December break. If the absentee rate rises in the double digits due to illness, we may need to return to this mitigation step for the safety of all. We know you will continue to make wise choices with your family when you are outside of school so that they may stay as healthy as possible!
From March 7 on, those who prefer to continue to wear the masks may do so, and no comments about the choice will be tolerated. We will show love and respect for each person’s choices.
NEXT YEAR-The enrollment for next year continues to climb, with daily calls from new families. One grade already has a waiting list, and another grade will be full very soon. Have you completed your re-enrollment form and sent it in?
*If you are in need of financial assistance for next year, you must complete the grant and aid application online at https://online.factsmgt.com/
