Dear Parents,
Our June value of the month is Faithfulness. This is a wonderful value to contemplate as we end this year of learning together. Our students are encouraged daily to be faithful to themselves in developing their talents and abilities. They are reminded to be faithful in showing respect and compassion for others. And they are directed to be faithful in believing that their positivity will make the world a better place for all.
Next Friday, at this time, our Eighth Grade graduates will be practicing for their Graduation Mass to be held that evening at St. Lucy’s, celebrated by our School Board member and loyal All Saints supporter, Fr. Frank O’Loughlin, Pastor of Jesus Savior Church. They will be moving on fully prepared to meet the challenges of high school life. We are so proud of our students, who will remain in our hopes and prayers for successes ahead! Congratulations to you, Eighth Grade Parents. You have achieved a milestone in your child’s life!
As much as we can control our children’s life journey, they will still live in the world. Your continuing support and attention to your child’s choices can never be interrupted. As we move towards the summer days, make sure that you monitor all media sites that you allow your child to navigate. No child is too old to have unlimited access to all media without your supervision. The school tragedy our Texas parents are suffering, and all parents who have lost their precious children to violence is openly discussed on apps that children can visit. Exposure to corrosive media negativity is harmful and lasting. We pray for you as you continue to guide your children safely in the days ahead.
Looking ahead- K-5 Dental Screening in school on June 10.
Enjoy this first weekend in June!
God bless you,
Mrs. Brouse
Do what you can do and pray for what you cannot yet do.
