Dear Parents,
We are now in October! This month is a special devotion to Mary, the Mother of God. We say the Hail Mary prayer in her honor, to ask her help in all that we do for our families and others in the community. We pray for all those in our lives who sacrifice for us. Thank you for your sacrifice in providing your children with the wonderful All Saints STEAM Academy education. This will be the strong start to their future dreams!
With this new month comes the smoothest morning we have had with the morning attestation surveys! Thank you for completing this information each day. It is an excellent reminder to pay attention to our health as the colder season comes upon us. Everyone who works at All Saints has to complete the survey as well, so we have data on our whole community.
Starting next week, the students will be completing the online Renaissance STAR testing in Reading and Mathematics. Your teachers will be reaching out to give you the day that this will take place in class. Please make sure, as you do every day, that your student is well rested, well fed, and well hydrated. We now have a water bottle refilling station in the front hall, so students needing to refill their water bottles may do so in the day. NO water fountains are in use this year.
Thank you for ensuring that our arrival and dismissal procedures are running smoothly. It is vital that the car tags are visible, and that you stay in line to move up in order to receive your children. Ms. Dawn, Ms. Teri, and Mrs. Villareal do a fantastic job in keeping the afternoon flow moving at a brisk pace!
Please look for information next week about School Speak login to review your student’s grades. Please follow those directions provided when they come your way.
Our first fundraiser will be a Chipotle Family Take Out Night on October 19. A flyer is coming next week with information on using the app to place an order at the Middletown restaurant where you will pick up.
With October comes the forward planning of the end of the month and Halloween. As you read in the Governor’s update we sent you yesterday, this year there will separate class parties with donated store bought candy in unopened bags to be shared. More information will come to you about our traditional Saints costume event!
Enjoy October orange colors!
Mrs. Brouse
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death, Amen.
